Biog of Terry Dammery
Terry Dammery lives in the Peak District with his family and assorted animals. He has travelled, laboured and lectured abroad and in the UK. He has a house that’s in the clouds and writes to keep himself sane. He has been widely published in UK poetry magazines and journals.
The poems included in ‘Love in the Vernacular’ are from a sequence of seventy written over a period of four weeks. They were written because they were experienced and felt – all of them deriving from a real relationship, of the type that most people experience, or would like to.
